Vision
A prosperous community that is Food Secure, Healthy and Literate for Holistic Sustainable Development in Uganda.
Mission
Our Mission statement is to contribute to strengthening of vulnerable communities (Women and Children) through influencing socio-economic transformation for Sustainable Development in Uganda.
Core Values:

- Upholding social justice and equity: We are gender sensitive and include both men and women not only as beneficiaries but also as decision makers.

Programme Approach:
Hear International (HI) pursues a human rights-based approach to programming. The integration of human rights in to the broad range of HI’s activities is at the heart of the on-going efforts of the Organization’s Programming. All HI’s programme and projects further the realization of human rights, as laid down in the United Nationals Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights instruments.
Domains of Change:
- Promoting Sustainable farming systems i.e. seed security, climate resilience, agro-ecology, indigenous knowledge on agriculture and food.
- Promoting agriculture Market development i.e. value chain development, quality and standards, agricultural financing.
- Influencing policies on agriculture, climate change, education and health i.e. advocacy engagement.
- Developing and enhancing competencies in financing.
- Promoting school gardening to introduce school feeding programme in primary schools.
- Promoting hygiene and sanitation in the communities to improve health.
- Promoting sustainable natural resource management.
- Enhancing competencies for effective partnership management
